Privacy Policy
Last updated October 7, 2026
LOL Me Shop, doing business as LOLme ("we", "us"), operates https://www.lolme.shop. LOLme lets you create AI-generated character images and order personalized merchandise. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and retain personal information. Our California Privacy Notice forms part of this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account and contact: name, email, account ID, sign-in method (email or Google) and preferences.
- Creative content: uploaded photos, memory stories and "memorable details" text, generated images, character names and descriptions. Content may include information about you or other people.
- Orders and transactions: products, designs chosen for printing, quantities, shipping details, gift notes, order history, credits and subscription records, payment status and refund/claim records. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never receive or store your full card number.
- Support and participation: messages to us, and entries and votes in optional office contests.
- Device and usage: IP address, browser/device information, pages visited, error logs and — only if you accept optional cookies — Meta advertising cookie identifiers.
We get this from you, your browser, people who send you a gift, and the providers listed below.
Please don't upload ID documents, financial details, confidential work information, medical details or other sensitive information. A photo can be personal information even when it isn't used to identify anyone.
2. How we use information
To run your account; generate images; save your collection; process payments, credits and subscriptions; print and deliver merch; send transactional email (receipts, card-ready, shipping, password reset); send marketing email if you opted in; run contests you join; prevent fraud and abuse; keep the service secure; fix bugs; and meet legal obligations. We don't use your photos or stories in LOLme ads without separate permission.
3. AI image processing
To create an image we send your prompt and reference photo to Google's Gemini models through the Lovable AI gateway. Inputs and outputs are processed under those providers' terms; we have not verified zero retention, so we don't promise it.
AI output can be inaccurate or show fictional events. It isn't evidence about a real person. We don't use uploaded faces to identify or verify anyone.
4. Photos and stories about other people
Only upload someone else's photo or story if you have their permission for the intended use, including AI processing, sharing and merch. Permission to upload privately isn't permission to publish.
If content on LOLme shows you without permission, use our report form or email support@lolme.shop. No account needed.
5. Who receives information
- Lovable Cloud (hosting, database, file storage and sign-in).
- Google Gemini via the Lovable AI gateway (image and text generation).
- Stripe (payments, subscriptions, tax) — also processes data for its own fraud and legal purposes.
- Printful (printing and shipping) — receives the print-ready design, order details and recipient address only; not your source photos or prompts. Carriers deliver the order.
- Loops and our email provider (marketing and transactional email).
- Meta (advertising measurement) — only if you accept optional cookies; see section 7.
- People you share links with, and authorities when legally required or to protect safety or rights, or a buyer in a business transfer.
6. Private content and sharing
Your collection and source uploads are private by default and require sign-in. When you create a share link, the generated card can be viewed by anyone with that link; your source photo and prompts are not included. Anyone with a link may forward it, and removing content doesn't recall copies already downloaded or printed.
7. Cookies, advertising and browser signals
Necessary cookies and storage support sign-in, security, checkout and saving your privacy choice. Optional advertising cookies stay off until you choose "Accept optional cookies". Rejecting them never blocks image creation or purchases. Change your choice anytime at Privacy Choices.
If you opt in, we load the Meta Pixel on public pages (home, pricing, product info and policy pages) to measure ads. It sends cookie/device identifiers and page-visit activity to Meta. This may count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. The pixel never runs on upload, creation, account, checkout, order or privacy-request pages, and we never send your photos, stories, prompts, artwork, payment details or addresses to Meta.
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) as an opt-out of sale/sharing. We don't respond to the older "Do Not Track" signal. Opting out stops future sharing but doesn't erase what Meta already received — you can also make a deletion request.
8. Retention
- Account information: while your account is open.
- Uploads, generated images and designs: until you delete them or your account.
- Orders, payments, refunds and tax records: as long as needed for fulfillment, chargebacks, accounting and legal requirements — these can outlast account closure.
- Support, security and abuse records: as long as needed to resolve issues and prevent repeat abuse.
- Marketing unsubscribes: kept so you aren't re-enrolled.
- Privacy requests: as long as needed to show we handled them.
9. Your choices and requests
Request access, correction or deletion through our request form or support@lolme.shop. We may ask for reasonable verification. Deleting data doesn't cancel orders already printed or remove records we must keep by law. Unsubscribe from marketing using the link in any marketing email.
10. Security
We use encrypted connections, access-controlled storage, per-account database permissions and expiring links for private images. No system is perfectly secure. Report security concerns to support@lolme.shop.
11. Age and location
LOLme is intended for adults 18 and older. Don't create an account or upload images of minors. If you think we received information in violation of this, contact support@lolme.shop. Our service is operated from the United States and data is processed there.
12. Your ownership
You own the images generated from your uploads. We keep only the limited licence needed to store, display and print them for you.
13. Changes and contact
We post updates here and change the date above, and give extra notice when the law requires.
